Sport and Societies Memberships
Membership policy
Every current at the University of Bradford can become a member of any Sports Club or Society.
Alumni and public members need to first be approved by the club or group before they can become a member. There should be a higher fee for alumni, staff and public members as they also need to become associate members of UBU before they can join your group. Speak to UBU for the full process of how to offer membership to anyone who is not a UoB student.
The area Areas Bylaws set a minimum membership level. For Sports Club & Societies you must achieve at least 10 paid members in time for the audit or new society 6 week trial period expires. Microsocieties are the only exception to this with a minimum of 5 paid members.
All executives must be a member of their group or club.
Memberships can only be sold via the UBU website and the joining portal on your club and group webpage.
