Take a Hike - Yorkshire Way Walk - 1 March

Take a Hike is a hiking group for students and young adults with and without disabilities.

Our third walk of 2026 takes us along the Yorkshire Way, a scenic walk that incorporates Saltaire and Ilkley.

The walk is intermediate level and takes in the stunning Ilkley Moor, home to aliens, ancient stone circles and poetry and you'll be helping people with various disabilites, including visual impairment, learning disabilities and autism.

Take a Hike is one of the greatest things you can be involved with so if you want to see the UK, meet new people and go on adventures then get your ticket now for only £3, which includes the support of a fully qualified Mountain Leader. We'll be taking the train so you'll need some train fare.

This is the first of many walks that will take place throughout the year, with a summer residential trip to Wales, but if you want to come on the trip, you have to come on the training hikes and get to know the team.
