Two highly qualified referees are provided per match. Although there will be student volunteers at each venue, each team is required to provide at least one competent table official to score matches after their game. It does not have to be the same person every time. It is extremely important that your team provides this table official to ensure the smooth running of the tournament. Your co-operation is greatly appreciated, as most of the helpers are non-basketball players and are giving their time voluntarily to the tournament.

Note: This year we are enforcing the rule that players do not interchange between teams! They

are to play only for the team they are registered with, unless under the agreement of the Tournament Director and opposing team manager in special circumstances! Please co-operate with this rule so that the competition is at all times fair and so flamboyant on-court disputes can be avoided.
