Quality and Improvement Team Volunteer (Community based)

We are looking for a volunteer to support our quality and improvement team by collecting feedback from service users about their experiences of Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust Children’s Services.

As a quality and improvement team support volunteer you will use your excellent communication skills to engage with families attending mother and baby groups across the district. Asking a prepared set of questions, you will accurately record service user’s responses to the questions.

Before applying, we ask that volunteers consider their availability within the next few months- our opportunities are not short-term and recruitment checks can take around 2-3 months to complete.

These recruitment checks include DBS check, references, right to work and online training. You will also need attend a face-to-face Welcome Workshop, Breakaway training and an Infection Prevention session.

Key responsibilities

From a database of known parent and baby groups across the district the volunteer will contact the group organiser to arrange a visit. Have good communication skills to chat with parents and gather feedback using a prepared set of questions Accurately record the answers provided on feedback sheets. Return the completed questionnaires to the quality and improvement team based at Shipley Health Centre
