Horton Housing developed out of the Bradford day shelter which was first established in 1976. We were registered as a Industrial and Provident Society in 1985. We provide services for vulnerable people who experience: homelessness, substance abuse, mental health problems, physical health issues, social isolation, disabilities as well as refugees, ex offenders, older and younger people.

To provide administration support to assist the STARS team with any appropiate administration tasks contributing to the smooth day to day running of the service. The role also includes helping staff facilitate activities and the occlusal day trip out.

Essential to have:
1) Exceellent communication skills including an appropiate telephone manner and peole skills
2) Some computer skills including being familiar with Microsoft Office, emails and database
3) A good standard of written and verbal English
4) A friendly, welcoming and flexible approach
5) Be reliable and non-judgemental
6) Ability to use own initiative but be able to ask for help when needed
Desirable:
1) You do not have to have any related qualifications to this role but you should be understanding, patient, empathetic and have good listening skills.
