The executive committee of the Society of FinTech Students (SoFTS) recently had the privilege of addressing the incoming MSc Financial Technology cohort during their core lecture session. The engagement and energy from students across the lecture hall was immediate and inspiring. Within minutes, many in attendance connected with our official union platforms, demonstrating a clear appetite for practical skill-building, applied research, and professional networking.
In close alignment with faculty research initiatives—including the Responsible FinTech Space (ResFinTech) led by Dr. Marizah Minhat—SoFTS is dedicated to equipping students with real-world technical competencies while grounding them in ethical, sustainable, and regulatory frameworks.
