Rules

STANDARD FIBA RULES APPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING EXCEPTIONS:

Two 10-minute, stopping clock halves shall constitute a game with a 2-minute break between halves. 1 time-out is permitted per half and overtime if necessary, will be two minutes

A player is allowed 3 personal fouls before they are fouled out of a game. A team is allowed 4 team fouls in each half before a team foul situation arises.

After consulting with a referee and the respective team captain, the court managers at each venue have the authority to adjust a game length to ensure a game is completed on time

A game Referee’s decision is FINAL

Two points are awarded for a win and one point for a loss. In the event of a tie in league positions, the winner of the game between the two teams in question will progress. In the event of a three-way or more tie, points difference between the teams involved will be used to decide positions. In other situations, FIBA rules will apply.

The finals of both the men’s and women’s competitions will consist of two, stopping-clock 15-minute halves. Two time outs are permitted per half and 4 personal fouls and 5 team fouls are also permitted per half with all of the above rulings still applying.

Players that are disqualified will automatically be suspended from the next game and may be subject to further sanctions.
