Personal player fees paid covers an individual for public liability (e.g. your legal liability with respect to injuries either to a member of the public or damage to a member of the public’s property). Please note that should damage to university or public property be deemed wilful, the full cost of the damage will be passed on to those responsible and legal action will be taken.
Many of you may/should be insured through the EBBA or through your respective institutions’ University Athletics Association membership for injuries incurred whilst playing. If you are no longer a student at a university or a member of the EBBA. Personal accident insurance is available from most insurance companies at relatively low costs. Personal accident insurance is entirely up to the individual and you will not be stopped from participating in the weekend’s events should you not have insurance however, the tournament WILL NOT be held responsible for any injuries incurred during the course of the tournament.
Smoking and consuming alcohol at any of the tournament sporting venues is absolutely prohibited. We ask that you please respect our premises and refrain from smoking and drinking indoors. Violating this will seriously threaten the future of tournament.
Each venue is well equipped with first aid provisions and in the event of anyone requiring first aid, please contact an organiser or a member of staff at your current venue.
We would also like ask that rubbish be placed in the various bins allocated at the sporting venues and not be left on the courts.
