UBU is the University of Bradford Union of Students — the organisation that represents & supports students. It is a student-led organisation, meaning your ideas and needs come first. Every student has a stake in the Union, and we welcome you to get involved in our decision-making process, and to be part of the services and opportunities we provide!
Representing You:
Sabbatical and Part-Time Officers - We have a leadership team which consists of 4 Sabbatical Officers, 10 Part-Time officers (Campaigns) these are elected annually by the students, from among the student body.
UBU Council - Sabbatical and Part-Time Officer plus Chair of Council, Lay Members, representatives from Faculties, sports and societies.
School Representatives - student representation system designed for students to be able to regularly give to the University and Union. Some student representatives sit on UBU Council and also meetings at the University of Bradford.
Sports & Societies Executive - Students who volunteer to ensure their sport or society works for their members. Most sports & societies have at least 3 Executive Members. The sports & societies executive representing their relevant group and give feedback to the Union. Some sports & societies executive also sit on the UBU Council
