Whether you are a member of each or a non member, every student of the University of Bradford is welcome to come 💫
The Ice Skating Society is your chance to lace up some skates and have a fantastic time on the ice. We are a fun, friendly, and relaxed society for everyone, whether you want to learn from scratch, improve your skills, or just enjoy a casual skate with friends. We hold regular sessions at Bradford's local ice rink and welcome all abilities.

Why Should You Join?

• Perfect for Absolute Beginners (and Pros!): Never skated before? No problem! Most of our members start out holding onto the barrier for dear life, and we're all here to help each other learn in a supportive, judgment-free zone.
• The Coolest Socials on Campus: Looking for a unique way to hang out and meet new people? Our regular group trips to the rink are a fun, active, and memorable way to take a break from your studies and chill out with friends.
• Skate for Less: Enjoy the ice without freezing your bank account. As a member, you'll get access to great group discounts on rink entry and skate hire, making it much cheaper than going on your own.
• A Fun Way to Keep Fit: Ice skating is a brilliant way to improve your balance, coordination, and core strength, all while having so much fun you won't even realise you're exercising.
