Our Ghanaian Society celebrated 69 years of Ghanaian independance last Friday with a fantastic ceremony that culminated in a flag raising on the university flag pole.

The event begain with speeches and invited guests, including the Deputy Lord Lieutennat of West Yorkshire who was representing King Charles III.

Students and members of the Ghanaian Community of Bradford came together to share music, food, culture and to share stories and it was a wonderful day.

This is why the Ghanaian Society are under the spotlight this week.
