Our society under the spotlight today is one of our most active academic societies, the Archaeological and Forensic Science Society.
Shell Peart, the president of the society had this to say.
We have had fun this year - We produced a joint Xmas Quiz with the Geophysics Society, attended a British Museum talk in Leeds and went to the funfair afterwards, organised Xmas socials.
We've visited the York Museum and had lunch afterwards, and we've attended University Guest Lectures with a social afterwards.
Coming up this semester, we have a visit the to Thackery Medical Museum on the 21st February, we have a Movie Night (Indiana Jones) on the 9th March, a visit to the Jorvik Centre in York on the 21st March, and finally a End of Year Picnic in the Uni Amphitheatre on the 27th April.
We have an lively WhatsApp account and Instagram: @bu_forensicarch that you can follow HERE!
The current Execs will be stepping down at the end of April (due to Placement years) they are hoping people will come forward to replace them to keep the Society running.
If you'd like to be a member of the society, or if you'd like to take it over as an exec, please email bufass@bradford.ac.uk.
