Description

Welcome to the University of Bradford Swimming Club! If you are looking to join a sport on campus this one is for you! ALL ABILITIES ARE WELCOME into our mixed club (although a basic level of swimming aptitude is required - minimum swim requirement of 50m on your front and 50m on your back). We tailor our training sessions to suit all abilities so if you've never been part of a club before or are an ex-national swimmer you'll fit right in! We train two times a week at Unique’s swimming pool on campus where we develop skills, fitness, stamina and technique.

A great way to keep fit, swimming is one of the only non-weight-bearing sports and uses every muscle group and improves co-ordination. We at the University of Bradford have two sessions a week to help us improve our technique and power and our performance at our competitions.

Throughout the year we compete at BUCS, a weekend long international style competition with a complete Olympic programme of events in Sheffield, where we compete against other university swim clubs, as well as smaller style galas at Varsity and local friendlies.

Training Times:

- Tuesday  7:00pm - 8:30pm

- Sunday 1:30pm - 2:30pm

Be sure to join us at the Freshers Fayre, to gain an insight into our club! We will hopefully see you soon at training, but if you have any questions or want to get involved with the club, you can get in contact with us on social media and our group emails.
