Diwali is India's most important festival of the year - a time to celebrate the triumph of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance and good over evil. Diwali is marked by prayers, feasts, fireworks, family gatherings, and charitable givings. Indian society would like to bring the same spirit of celebration and rich culture for the students at the University of Bradford. The event will commence by venerating Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha, followed by dinner and a party till late.
The event will be organised on Diwali day i.e., 24th of October, 2022 start time - 7:00pm, Aarti time - 7:30pm followed by dinner and party till late.
The dress code will be ethnic Indian attires. The ticket prices for members and non-members is £7 and £11 respectively
