Description

The Indian Society has been founded at UBU to provide a space for Indian students where they can feel home and get involved in celebrating the most prominent Indian festivals. It is difficult to find a place that is one's own culture-oriented in a different country.

All the Indian students who are approximately 7,658 km away from their land are welcomed with warm hearts by the UBU Indian Society. Our society organises events and social gatherings on Indian festivals including Diwali, and Holi. We also have the usual 'meet & greet events' and other socials including Karaoke and movie nights once every month. Because India is immensely diverse, we would be delighted if students join us from all over the country, and make the society blossom with even more diversity. We would try our best to organise events on festivals that 'mean' to YOU.

So - HOP IN by buying our membership & riding this journey of Indian students celebrating their rich culture & diversity in England! Even if you are from a different geography, feel free to STEP IN, the society will be more than happy to welcome you with open hearts!

Looking forward to seeing you at our upcoming events 🙂
