Code of Conduct
Harassment Policy
The following will be considered harassment: physical or verbal threats; unwelcome attention; stalking; pushing, shoving, or use of physical force; behaviour that creates a disturbance or is dangerous, including lewd or generally offensive behaviour or language; using sexually explicit or offensive language or conduct; excessive profanity; obscene gestures; use of racial, religious, sexual, gender, ability, or ethnic slurs.

General Policies
BUGS is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property or for injuries sustained during sessions.
You must bring your BUGS card to all sessions, as security may require verification to show you are allowed to be at sessions. BUGS exec also reserve the right to ask for these cards as proof of membership.
We reserve the right to ask you to leave BUGS or events taking place as part of the society if you are acting outside the code of conduct. If this happens, you will not be refunded any part of your membership.
Games are games and real life is real life. If you get them mixed up, you may be asked to step away from the sessions by the GM until the exec can get involved.
If you are unhappy with the content of a game, the actions of other players in character or the way in which things are being handled, speak to the GM, in the first instance. If you feel your concerns are not addressed suitably, you may then bring this up to the exec.
If you’re unhappy with the actions of other players out of character, then report it to the GM, who can judge if it can be dealt with by the exec or not.
Consequences of Violations
BUGS reserves the right to revoke access to BUGS events. If an individual is in violation of the Code of Conduct during a session, they may be removed from the session for an explicit amount of time. If an individual breaks the law they will reported to the police, and BUGS will assist in any investigations, and press charges if it is deemed necessary.
