There are many ways students can join our Kickstart programme. New students can attend one of our special residential programmes delivered at the beginning of each semester. Over the course of our residential (2 days) you will meet other new students attending the University as part of your orientation. We will introduce you to all of our activities, as well as start you on your path to obtaining on our awards. Dates for our 2021-2022 residentials are coming soon.

Across our website you will see the kickstart award logo. Any student who volunteers as one our engaged student leaders will be automatically enrolled onto the award. This includes –

For those interested in Culture and art, Cultural ambassadors will help ensure there is a cultural life for students at UoB, working to come up with ideas and events of a cultural nature.
