UBU 20K Kickstart Fund - Submit your idea to UBU
Are you already completing your Kickstart award? Are you close to achieving level 3, and have a fresh new idea on how to demonstrate your social impact? UBU has a special £20,000 which any student can bid for to towards any new idea or change you want to see. It could be something small or something huge, that can affect your fellow students, the university, or the local community. Our Environment & Ethics and Inclusion Officers have just secured £2,000 to plant trees at university to sustain the green campus and so students can get free fruit in the future. Other ideas might be something like, organising an event over the summer once Covid allows us all out, helping to Green the local area, helping put together trips for students, starting a social enterprise, or almost anything you can see a need for. As well as financial support we can also provide whatever other support you need. We will look at any ideas you send in. Email us no more than 100 words of what you’d like to do and we’ll let you know how to make it happen.
Your project will count towards Kickstart and could help you get up to Level 3. Email your idea to firstname.lastname@example.org
