An Afternoon Celebrating Independent Music, Art and Communities in Bradford with

 

Gardenback - Grunge inspired pychedelic garage rock from Manchester

 

The Vision - RnB and Gospel from large University of Bradford ensemble

 

Night Host  - Soulful keys and driving grooves fusion trio from Manchester

 

No Borders with Bradford Scratch Orchestra - Open ensemble for musicians and singers facilitated by award winning composer Mariam Rezaei

 

Plus displays from Bradford’s refugee and migrant support organisations.

 

2pm - 7pm at Delius Arts and Cultural Centre, 29 Great Horton Rd, Bradford BD7 1AA

 

£7/pay as you feel. All profits go to Bradford Refugee and Migrant Support Groups.

Threadfest 2017 will be an afternoon of live performances and activities at Delius Arts and Cultural Centre . The venue itself is the home of community arts charity Artworks Creative Communities, It is a stunning German Church with a capacity of 120 people standing that has hosted numerous events.

 

The day will involve a mixture of performances from a variety of Bradford community members. Threadfest aims to be a safe social space to allow for the sharing of experiences from every community. The organisers strongly believe that music has the ability to bring people together, across cultures, across languages and across borders.
