Hiking - Hebden Bridge - Sunday 28 November

This week  we have a hike around Hebden Bridge.

 

This is a beautiful area with traditional villages and gorgeous scenery (https://youtu.be/qiR05l7hrJY).

 

We are meeting at UBU at 10am and we’ll be taking the train to Hebden Bridge from BRADFORD INTERCHANGE (you’ll need an off peak day return ticket) and tickets cost £6.50.

 

Places are limited and there is a non-refundable deposit of £3 to secure your place. 

 

Once at Hebden Bridge, you'll meet with Iain the Hike leader who will guide you over the hills.

 

Also, it’s the UK and as you know, it may be rainy, cold and windy so please wear appropriate clothing and footwear.

You will also need to bring water and food for yourself.

 

The walk is approximately 7 miles or 11km and you'll be out for most of the day and should be back at Hebden Bridge by 5pm.

 

You can then either return to campus or enjoy Hebden Bridge in your own time.
