Health and Wellbeing event: Bees

Are you interested in bees and learning how important they are to our environment and to our wellbeing?  Come find out more about the amazing life of the honey bee.

Bees have existed for millions of years; they survive whilst major civilisations meet their demise.  It’s time to learn how these magical creatures can teach us a lesson in life.  Bee prepared to be shocked, surprised and amazed about their lives and achievements.  The team work in the hive is more democratic than in the House of Commons.

Small samples of the girl’s production will be available, in limited quantities at 12 noon and 1pm.  But please remember that Beekeeping is not without cost, and if you take a honey sample, our bees request that you make a voluntary contribution towards the cost of the glass jar. No bee will be harmed (!)….only benefit from your generosity. The bees have had a noticeable impact on the abundance of food available from our Edible Campus.

Look forward to chatting – the Beekeeping Team.
