Your Role as a Volunteer Champion

As a Volunteer Champion, you will:
✅ Raise Awareness – Educate communities about hate crime prevention, reporting, and support services.
✅ Engage with Communities – Deliver presentations, attend local events, and work with diverse groups to promote inclusivity.
✅ Support Victims – Provide guidance to individuals who have experienced hate crime and signpost them to relevant services.
✅ Advocate for Change – Work alongside local organisations, community leaders, and marginalised groups to ensure everyone has a voice.
✅ Promote BHCA’s Mission – Help spread awareness through social media, outreach, and campaigns.

Key responsibilities

🔹 Community Awareness Champions – Raise awareness about hate crime, deliver presentations, and engage with diverse communities to promote inclusivity. 🔹 Support Advocates – Assist individuals in reporting hate crimes, provide guidance, and signpost victims to relevant resources. 🔹 Outreach Volunteers – Connect with marginalised groups, attend community events, and build relationships with local organisations to promote BHCA’s mission.
