Imran Khan Cancer Appeal (IKCA) UK helps run the only leading cancer hospital in Pakistan, which offers free cancer treatment to patients who can’t afford it. Annually, at SKMCH, we are able to provide free cancer treatment to 75% of our patients. Other patients, depending on their financial situation, are offered subsidised treatment. So far, we’ve spent in excess of £307 million on providing free cancer care in Pakistan, it has only been made possible by the generous support from the masses.

Every day, hundreds of cancer patients walk through the doors of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, with hope in their hearts. Hope that they, too, will be able to live to see their dreams come true, one day.

 
According to estimates, every year approximately 150,000 patients fall victim to cancer in Pakistan. SKMCH & RC being the only specialized cancer centre in the entire region with all cancer diagnostic & therapeutic facilities under one roof, is constantly pressurized to meet the growing needs. However, our current capacity allows us to accept only a fraction of these patients. Therefore, a number of expansion projects are underway at the Hospital to increase the capacity. By contributing to these ventures you will enable us to extend state-of-the-art treatment facilities to more cancer patients.
