General Meetings are the highest level of meeting in the Union, and the most open; they are where students can speak and vote, and hold their elected Officers to account General Meetings are governed through the UBU Constitution and its associated By-Laws.
General Meetings are the place to discuss and test ideas with all students. We bring the big topics of the day, and often invite guest speakers too.
Anyone can put a formal idea to UBU Council through a motion. Certain motions may be sent by them for wider discussion at a General Meeting. For more information, please look at the Council page.
