The Your Turn programme is designed in such a way that it will be ready to engage students of all backgrounds. Free physical activity sessions will be held that will allow non-active students to engage in sports for free, at a time that is easiest for them.
We aim to remove barriers to accessing sports for liberation groups; the sessions will be tailored to meet the needs of the various groups of non-active students. A social sports and physical activity programme will challenge the barriers students face when trying to participate with the existing physical activities available on campus; barriers such as cost, diversity, and time constraints alongside studies. Such a programme will make it readily available and easy for students to access physical activities throughout the morning and evening and help to improve the social lives and wellbeing of students, and to create cohesion between the community and the Students’ Union.
The National Union of Students, University of Bradford Students’ Union and Bradford College Students’ Union are pleased to be able to offer FREE activities to Bradford University and College students as part of the ‘Your Turn ‘Programme , with the aim of getting you active on campus!
