The Immanuel Project began in the winter of 2010, in response to the needs of those on the streets of Bradford who needed a place to go, and a warm meal during the coldest time of the year. Although intended to be set-up for a few weeks, the project has stayed open. Our aim is to show love and acceptance to the variety of guests who access our services.
We are currently open Monday to Friday between 9 and 3 . We serve hot food and drinks every day and we offer various wellbeing activities throughout the week.
We have an incredible team of volunteers from a wide variety of backgrounds, without whom the project could not run.
We are looking for compassionate and enthusiastic volunteers to help out in our busy city centre hub. We serve hot meals and drinks to 100 homeless and vulnerable adults five days a week. Your role would be serving food and drink, clearing tables, washing up and other kitchen duties .
