Special Guest Speaker: Yolanda Antin (Partnerships Coordinator, Foundation of FC Barcelona)

 

Originally based with Medecins Sans Frontieres, Yolanda Antin has worked with the Barça Foundation for many years. Football Club Barcelona describes itself as ‘Mes que un Club’ – ‘More than a Club’, playing a role historically in the promotion of democracy, social solidarity and internationalism. Yolanda will explain the values based philosophy of the Barça Foundation, its partnership with UNICEF and other outstanding partners, and some of the methodologies it uses worldwide to use sport for the promotion of inclusion, education and prevention of violence. Yolanda will be introduced by Tom Woodhouse, Emeritus Professor in PSID and adviser to the Independent Football Ombudsman on Football and Community relations.
