Coffee House Session with Tom Prior

Already carving out a name for himself with his potent, genre bending and defying music, spanning indie and hip-hop influences which pairs his distinctively arresting vocal with an innate ability to deliver gripping stories, north London raised singer-songwriter Tom Prior recent EP ‘The Sunday Scene’ showcases Tom’s impressive songwriting talent and unique ability to create addictive melodies and hooks whilst drawing you deeper in with his compelling storytelling, The Sunday Scene EP is a collection of four heartfelt tracks which will remind everyone that not only is Tom ‘one to watch’ but he is here to stay.

Featuring a collaboration with Sticky Blood’s Andy Nicholson (Arctic Monkeys) and Jamie Shield on the epic ‘Flashing Amber’ and the also previously unheard ‘Reasons To Love You’, Tom unveiled three different versions of the EP. In addition to the original studio collection, Tom released ‘The Sunday Scene Lock In Sessions’, which saw him teaming up with a wealth of up-and-coming British talent including Haus, Jake Isaac, Lauren Aquilina and Prose to reinterpret the tracks live at Ray Davies’ KONK Studios, whilst also releasing ‘The Sunday Scene Unplugged’, featuring breathtaking acoustic performances of the EP.
After appearing on Radio 1’s Live Lounge early in 2016 with Naughty Boy and Little Simz, Tom proved why he has garnered support from artists such as Paloma Faith, Tinie Tempah, Labrinth, Maverick Sabre and Arctic Monkeys as well as titles including Earmilk, Clash, Hunger, Hypetrak, Wonderland and The Line of Best Fit. There is no doubt that Tom’s star will continue to rapidly rise when he brings his music to life on the Coffee House Sessions tour.
